Get yourself informed via the Web with information the official media doesn't release. There is a vast amount of information out
there. Try to find the contrary views to your own too: avoid black and white thinking.
|
Work out your own views for yourself. |
Identify which subjects make you angry: anger is the source of energy. Think about what you can do, not just what you would
like to do. Think also not just about what you do not like but how you would like it to change, a way forward. |
Actions could include: contacting your local MP, Government Ministers etc by letter, not email, expressing your views. Letters are
read and count. You are likely to get a reply. |
Send emails of support to groups you support - they will appreciate and be encouraged by this. |
Support and sign petitions for causes that you support. |
Join marches if possible for causes that you support. You will really experience that you are not alone in what you believe. |
Involve your friends in a sensitive manner. Let them know how you feel but respect their views. Remember that the little influences
count also. |
Write letters to national newspapers. Few are published, but the ones that are reach hundreds of thousands of people and editors
note trends of opinion. |
Feedback your views to sites like this. Contribute articles, which do not have to agree with the general views of the site. The
Internet is all about freedom, especially freedom of speech. |
