Climate Change
Christian Aid has asked me to help publicise their request outlined below. I am very happy to do so, as I believe this issue is the most important one facing us as a species and we need to take immediate and sustained action.
In February 2008, the UK government is introducing a climate change bill into Parliament. They are proposing a 60% cut in carbon emmissions by 2050. From what climate change scientists are telling us, we believe that this is not enough and that 80% is needed by 2050. This might sound like a lot, but it is easily achievable and requires us to reduce by less than 5% per year, every year until 2050. If you're in the UK and want to lobby your MP, watch these 2 X 30 seconds cartoons (quite funny) and find out how.

Cut the carbon
From Belfast to London, marchers from poor and rich countries have spent 80 days walking 1,000 miles taking our cut the carbon message to companies and MPs. Find out how you can get involved!
